“THE VISION: This is for those looking for a kingdom community, whether they have a church home or not, to gather in God’s name and strengthen one another for God’s glory. This is not to replace the need for a local church but to give those of us who are looking to fellowship with other believers an additional opportunity to have community. We as followers of Christ are not of this world but must live in this world. With that comes many challenges and some suffering. We have to deal with this challenge Monday – Saturday and then we go to church where hopefully we can be restored and strengthened for the upcoming week. I believe if we are to successfully do this we need a strong community within and outside of a church building. I do not accept that for those who have not found a church home or are suffering from church hurt and are not yet ready to rejoin the church must be alone and without community until they do. For those who have church trauma, hopefully, this can be a step in some of your healing from the pain that was caused by individuals in the church, so you have the confidence and the renewed spirit to find a home again. Hopefully, this gathering can supplement our walk with Christ and give us a sense of community as we navigate this world. Amen.”
